ARGENTINA HELD THE FIRST HYBRID WINE TASTING EVENT WITH BRAZILIAN TOUR OPERATORS

Together with the Argentine Consulate in the city of Salvador, INPROTUR organized the first hybrid wine tasting event with Brazilian tour operators, a different and sense-appealing experience through an imaginary and real journey around the main wine routes in Argentina.

Almost twenty Brazilian tour operators received each a box with 3 bottles of Argentine wine and crystal cups to enjoy the wine tasting and the special online journey organized by INPROTUR into the different regions of Argentina, in which the operators learned about our wines as they tasted them from home while watching and being told about wine tourism.

The tasting was led by Brazilian Sommelier Alexandre Takkei and Paula Fariña, an Argentinean tourism-specialized trainer.

“For this hybrid wine-tasting event, we spent the week sending food and wine videos, a special map we made of the Argentine wine routes, as well as emails, to raise greater expectation before the tasting” INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa explained.

“Through Malbec, from the North, the Cuyo region and Patagonia, we showed them how this strain, the most emblematic in Argentina, changes to fit the various types of climates, terroirs and heights”, he added.

The participating Brazilian operators wereALCANCE OPERADORA, CAMINHOS VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA, CONQUEST OPERADORA, CONTRAST OPERADORA, VIAGENS E TURISMO LT, HAPPY TOUR / ABAV, MARTINEZ TURISMO LTDA, MASCARO TOUR AGENCIA DE VIAGENS E TURISMO, MILLENIUM VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA ME, O VIAJANTE VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA, PEDRA BONITA VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA, PLUS VIAGENS E TURISMO, PRIME OPERADORA TURÍSTICA, SALVATUR SALVADOR TURISMO LTDA, SHALOM VIAGENS E TURISMO LTDA y TURISMAR TUR LTDA.
