In an online ceremony led by Minister of Tourism and Sports of Argentina Matías Lammens and INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa, our country introduced the actions to be developed in the circuit of one of the sports that gathers the largest number of high-end tourists worldwide.
Once again, Argentina joins sports and tourism to leverage its proposals for tourism and the beauty of the six regions that make up our national territory. Just like a few days ago, the National Bureau of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) supported Argentine driver Esteban Guerrieri at the end of the WTCR season, now promotion leaves racing car wheels to turn to golf.
Thus, Argentina announces the world the next promotional actions to be carried out starting December this year and throughout 2021 by means of a historical alliance with the Latin American PGA Tour, one of the most prestigious circuits in the region which not only gathers the major international golfers but also invites a large number of luxury travelers.

The visibility of our image in tournaments of remarkable worldwide significance will give us very good results in the future and will further boost our tourism supply”.
Sosa highlighted that “Argentina has a long-lasting golf tradition. Throughout our history, world travelers have found not only great golfers but also first-rate golf courses in our country, leveraged by the beauty of our landscapes and the experiences that we can offer”.
Besides our national authorities, José Garrido, PGA Tour Latin American Tournament Business Affairs and Competitions Manager; Ernesto Camacho, General Director of General Wholesalers, and the representatives of the Argentine golf courses where the PGA is played also attended the event.
The Argentine presence will be shown in various promotional formats in all the Latin American PGA dates in the following tournaments: 2020 Miami Shell Open (United States), 2020 Puerto Plata Open (Dominican Republic), 2021 Mexico Open (Mexico), 2021 Bupa Match Play (Mexico), 2021 San Pablo Championship (Brazil), 2021 Brazil Open (Brazil), 2021 Ecuador Open (Ecuador), 2021 Dinners Club Peru Open (Peru), 2021 Colombia Open (Colombia) and 2021 Tour Championship (United States).
