FIRST 100% LGBT CRUISESHIP TO ANTARCTICA TO DEPART FROM ARGENTINA IN 2022

It was confirmed by Vacaya. The 5-star ship will depart from Ushuaia, the southernmost city of our country, on December 6 and will return 11 days later. The plan, which confirms how appealing Argentina is for this community, includes a night in Buenos Aires.

Argentina is the LGBT Tourism leader in Latin America and one of the world destinations most commonly selected by this community that sees our country as a hospitable place and finds a great deal of friendliness among its people.

Many of these achievements are the result of the joint work that the National Bureau of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) and the LGBT Argentine Chamber of Commerce (CCGLAR) have been doing for over 10 years, and have given our country top positioning in this sector. That’s why it is no surprise that Argentina takes a step ahead in this segment that gives our country such good annual results.

This step forward is closely related to Argentina having the privilege of being the destination where the first exclusively LGBT cruise ship will be departing to Antarctica. This information was confirmed by Randle Roper, CEO of Vacaya, the company that will carry out this fabulous experience.

In the words of INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa: “The great effort made by all those who are part of Argentine tourism is shown in these excellent results. The growth of the LGBT segment in our country has been remarkable and it does not seem to stop, as we keep achieving goals that we are really proud of. In spite of the difficulties posed by the current pandemic, Argentina has shown its firm position and ambitious projects”.

The future adventure to the white continent will depart on December 6, 2022 from Ushuaia, capital city of the Province of Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and Atlantic South Islands, known as the End of the World city, and will return to the same city on 17th of the same month and year.

The magnificent journey, that will give passengers the possibility of going kayaking, having a close look at penguins or taking pictures, among a myriad of other options, has the advantage of including a night in the City of Buenos Aires, so travelers will also have the chance to visit the capital of the country.
