The corporate event, which has been organised by Associação Latino Americana de Gestão de Eventos e Viagens Corporativas (ALAGEV) of Brazil for 17 years, was held for the first time in Buenos Aires, with the participation of local different companies, which highlighted the recovery of Argentinian tourism.
Before the pandemic, Argentina had attained Latin America’s leading position within MICE Tourism. Its varied offers, destinations prepared with top-quality infrastructure, and highly professional services were some of the reasons for which the country achieved such a place, being distinguished among tourism businesses.
Aiming at keeping this achievement and within the framework of the tourism recovery, the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR) was present at LACTE BUENOS AIRES 2022, an important event that brings together the corporate sector, today in the Autonomous City of Buenos Aires. It is worth mentioning that the event also received Aerolíneas Argentinas’ support.
Furthermore, it should be pointed out that it was the first time this event, organised by the Associação Latino Americana de Gestão de Eventos e Viajes Corporativas (ALAGEV) of Brazil, was held in our country. This definitely marks the interest of the international MICE sector in organising prestigious events in Argentina.
In the event, excellent educational content was displayed, with an innovative proposal based on parallel panels with two main axes: corporate events and corporate trips. In addition, the INPROTUR’s delegation had the opportunity to contact more than 60 meeting planners and companies from the local corporate sector in order to find new action lines for Meeting Tourism in the country.
