El INPROTUR, liderado pNational Institute for Tourism Promotion (known by its acronym in Spanish as INPROTUR), led by its Executive Secretary, Ricardo Sosa, together with the incoming travel agency Novoriente, received the first group of travellers from the Asian country.

The last days of April, in Buenos Aires, the Executive Secretary of the National Institute for Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), Ricardo Sosa, in collaboration with the inbound travel agency Novoriente, received the first group of Chinese tourists visiting Argentina after the pandemic. During this gathering, the official welcomed the tourists warmly and gave them some presents.

“We are very pleased to receive the first Chinese tourists after the pandemic, and we are also very proud of being one of the nations chosen by China travellers to visit abroad. With this group, we mark the beginning of the Chinese tourism reactivation in Argentina”, Sosa stated.

It is worth mentioning that Argentina is part of the list of 20 countries authorised by China for its tourists to travel abroad. In addition, our country has the privilege of being the only South American nation on the aforementioned list.

After visiting Buenos Aires, the group of Chinese tourists will go to Puerto Iguazú, in Misiones Province, to enjoy the Iguazú Falls (one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World). Then, they will travel to Ushuaia, the capital city of Tierra del Fuego Province (and known as the End of the World City), and to El Calafate, in Santa Cruz Province, to enjoy the well-known Perito Moreno Glacier.

The Chinese market reopening sets tourism recovery with the Asian country. From this reception, there will be other Argentinian actions in China.
