Through INPROTUR, our country participated in this event, which went hybrid for the first time. SITE partners showed strong support to Argentina’s proposal.
Through the National Bureau of Tourism Promotion (INPROTUR), Argentina attended the Society for Incentive Travel Excellence (SITE) Global Conference, held in a hybrid format for the first time due to the pandemic, last February 2nd and 3rd, 2021.
With the purpose of strengthening and expanding the development of Meetings Tourism and incentive trips, SITE gathered major members and businesspeople of the sector in order to analyze current trends and future projects.
For Argentina, this was an excellent opportunity to introduce its prestigious proposal in the incentive trip and corporate event segment, as well as to assert its leadership in Latin America. In addition, the INPROTUR team was very well received by the attendants, who showed interest in holding major congresses and other events in our country.
In the words of INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa: “as the Meetings Tourism leaders in the region, our participation in this conference allows us to keep growing and designing new strategies to gain more markets. Argentina has countless opportunities and this is why we want to offer the world the best tools and our know-how so that we can be their choice”.
It is worth noting that on the second day of the conference, Argentina attended the Chapter Excellence Awards and the Association’s Annual General Meeting where our national committee had successful meetings and exchanged experiences, thus generating new contacts and gaining know how for the SITE’s future guidelines.
The role of technology in post-pandemic tourism, new trends, innovation and upcoming changes were other subjects dealt with and which our country learned about in this conference to continue being a major world player in the Meetings Tourism industry.
