ARGENTINA’S STRATEGIC PRESENTATION IN THE PRESENCE OF 300 LEADERS OF BRAZIL’S TOURISM INDUSTRY

Argentina mounted a strategic display in the presence of 300 leaders in Brazil’s tourism industry in the Panrotas Forum, which took place in the Expo Center Norte convention centre in São Paulo, Brazil.

The presentation was held by the INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary, Ricardo Sosa, who gave details about the border reopening process that started on October 1st.

In addition, the authority referred to the advance on the vaccination plan, highlighted its promotion strategy, specified the actions to increase the incoming flight flow, described new touristic products (such as the Natural Route), and commented on the stability of other attractions (such as wine, snow, the city of Buenos Aires, among others).

Argentina had an outstanding position in the Panrotas Forum’s presentation list, on a stage with the most recognised CEOs, tour operator directors and managers, travel agencies, airlines, and representative entities of the tourism sector.

In the meeting, which caught the assistants’ undivided attention, Sosa pointed out the importance of the Brazilian market for Argentina, as it is the main source of tourists. He also mentioned that road transport tourism is highly potential, and new flight schedules will be set up during December and January.

Moreover, he detailed the actions developed to strengthen the current sanitary protocols. He also mentioned various awards given to and recognising our country, the Safe Travels seal granted by the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC), the successful Previaje national program, and the large number of Argentinians visiting their own country. The Panrotas Forum was also a meeting place for the Argentinian delegation to gather with representatives of the Latin American Cruise Ship Chamber, several airlines, and Brazil’s federal legislators.
