ARGENTINIAN BUSINESS OWNERS IN ANATO 2022: “THE EXPERIENCE WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED”

Over 1000 meetings held during this three-day fair in Colombia framed promising courses for tourist companies of Argentina, confirming the reactivation of Argentina’s touristic sector and Colombia’s eagerness in promoting our country.

Without any doubt, Argentinian companies were the most victorious entities of Vitrina Turística ANATO 2022 (Colombia’s greatest tourist fair). They agreed on the positive results of their work in Bogotá, where they exhibited their products and established contacts and future agreements.

INPROTUR’s Executive Secretary Ricardo Sosa claimed, “Joint actions of public and private sectors are essential for Argentina’s touristic reactivation; and this was evidenced in this ANATO edition. We’ve got a vast variety of products for all tastes, of which the Colombian market showed itself aware. We’re very satisfied; but this is only the beginning of a seemingly productive course”.

Pehuén Maciel, Abax Travel’s accounts executive, said ANATO is such a success! Argentina’s destinations are highly desired by wholesalers and retailers. They all want to visit our beautiful places”.

Florencia Reyes, sales coordinator of Álvarez Argüelles Hotel chain, remarked, “After two years, coming back to ANATO had an excellent impact —we received amazing feedback from Colombia’s tour operators and colleagues from Argentina. Our destination makes quite an impression”.

On the other hand, Santiago Seisdedos, AMV Travel’s general director, mentioned that “the fair experience was better than expected. The same happened in FITUR. The stand was packed with travel agents, and we left this event very satisfied.”

Federico Osuna, president of Moebius, pointed out the value of this Colombian fair, “We came back to a fair that draws a big audience to show Argentina’s attractions and place our country as Latin America’s top destination. The Colombian market is essential for us”.

Jorge Ravenna, Dopazo & Ravenna Viajes’s commercial director, said, “That was our first time in ANATO, and we were amazed. It is a fantastic fair. We have established excellent contacts and there are great commercial opportunities. Tourism is getting reactivated, so we’re happy for having participated, grateful to the Argentinian stand, and satisfied with the results”.

Lastly, Sebastián Zumelzu, Wyndham Hotels’ sales manager, pointed out that he wanted “to thank INPROTUR and the Argentine Tourism Chamber (CAT) for such a significant event after these two years of pandemic. We see the reactivation, and we appreciate that everything has been flawless”.
